Waegener – Results study on cTreatment®

by in Waegener News

A randomized controlled study conducted by the Medical University of Graz (Austria) and the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) shows that the use of cTreatment® after principal knee arthroplasty (TKA) yields positive results.

“The new, computer-controlled cooling therapy offers benefits in terms of early post-operative remobilisation with respect to ROM and pain, which might be attributed to a reduced inflammatory response, as well as reduced secretion and bleeding. Therefore, the cTreatment® system appears to be a safe and efficient procedure. This makes it even clearer that Waegener’s cTreatment® is very efficient, says CEO Levi Dewaegenaere.

That is why the following was published in International Orthopedics 2017: Impact of a new cryotherapy device on early rehabilitation after primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA): a prospective randomised controlled trial.
